● Design, develop and maintain front and backend solutions for database-driven web
applications.
● Participate in and contribute to decisions concerning architectural and design patterns used
and applied within the client’s Ruby on Rails applications.
● Perform continuous and proactive maintenance and support on our operational software,
involving multiple applications and interfaces.
● Work on all areas of Ruby on Rails applications, including graphical and non-graphical
user interfaces, back-end logic, and connections.
● Work on the continuous enhancement of the Ruby on Rails development practice
● Also, challenge the current tech stack and suggest other solutions where necessary.
● Display ownership of the software you develop, from development through delivery to
production.

● Write clean, concise, maintainable, and well-tested code.

● Minimum of 4 to 6 years full-stack experience with developing web applications in Ruby
on Rails,
● Proven experience and proficiency in Javascript/jQuery and Bootstrap.
● A strong affinity with databases; you know how to design and tune them.
● Experience designing, developing, and using APIs.
● Used to working agile, using Scrum.
● Experience working with AWS, Atlassian stack, and Mercurial or Git.
● You have excellent analytical skills and can define challenges and address them.
● Open to discuss, learn, grow, help and coach others to do the same.
● Excellent communication skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting
presentations and advising the implementation team on technical issues,
● Travel to the Netherlands to work on location with our client when requested,
● Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication), Mathematics, Science & Technology or equivalent.
